​Dress Code
Dancewear must be worn to class, please see required dancewear below.
Dancewear and shoes may be purchased at Capezios on B Street in San Mateo. They have a list of all of our classes and required shoes and are giving a 15% discount from August 15th to September 15th.

All girls must have hair tied back in a ponytail or bun. Bangs should be off the face. No excessive jewelry is allowed for the safety of dancers.
Ballet:
Girls - Black leotards, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Levels III and up should have split-sole ballet shoes. Dance shorts or skirts may be worn.
Boys - black leggings, white t-shirt, black ballet shoes.
Pre-School:
Dance Discovery, Pre-Ballet, Advanced Pre-Ballet - Leotard, tights, and pink ballet shoes. Girls may wear the fanciest skirts they want and any color leotard. Boys can wear leggings, white t-shirts, and black ballet shoes.

Jr. Jazz/Tap - Fitted dancewear and black tie jazz shoes and black mary-jane patent leather tap shoes (Boys - black oxford tie tap shoes).
Jazz:
Black jazz pants or any color dance shorts, fitted dance top or leotard. Jazz shoes, slip on or tie, no dance sneakers allowed. Levels III and up should have split sole shoes.
Lyrical/Contemporary:
Any color dance shorts or jazz pants, fitted dance top. Paws or Foot Undeez are required.
Tap:
Comfortable clothing and socks. Level I and II black mary-jane non-patent leather, Level III and IV - black oxford tie or slip-on tap shoe.
Boys - Black tie or slip on tap shoes.
Hip Hop:
Comfortable clothing. No jeans are allowed. Dancers must wear white street shoes with laces that are reserved for dance class use only. Shoes must not be worn outside the dance room (Converse style, Vans style, or running shoes okay).
Modern & Improv:
Comfortable clothing (no jeans) and barefoot.
Acro:
Dance shorts, fitted tops or leotards, and barefoot.
Dance Conditioning:
Black jazz pants or any color dance shorts, fitted dance top or leotard. Black jazz shoes, slip on or tie, no dance sneakers allowed.
